We develop statistical and mathematical methods with accompanying software, that help analyzing both high- and low-throughput biological data, and contribute to answer important biological questions.
We are especially interested in the mechanistic basis of genotype-phenotype relations in both model organisms and farm animals.
Chronobiology: the study of how the so called circadian clock – the inner timekeeper of animals – controls physiology, from cells to organs and behavior.
Aging: investigations of molecular and genetic basis, as well as the effects of animal aging, including effects on the circadian clock.
