Journal "Archives Animal Breeding" now included in PubMed Central (PMC)

|   News

Since 1993 the FBN publishes the international journal "Archives Animal Breeding", founded in 1957, with scientific articles discussing all aspects of animal breeding and husbandry.

After the transition to Open Access (2013) and moving to the Open Access publisher Copernicus Publications (2015), the inclusion in PubMed Central (PMC) is another important step for the development of the journal.

PMC is a free full-text archive of biomedical and life science journal articles from the United States National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health.

After the journal have met the strict content criteria for inclusion some time ago, the technical evaluation of the data provision has now been successfully completed.

The inclusion in PMC improves the visibility and availability of articles published in Archives Animal Breeding. As of volume 62 (2019), all articles are searchable and accessible in the PubMed database.
