Collected data and purposes of its processing while visiting the website

While on our website fbn-dummerstorf.de for informational use only (without you registering or transmitting other information to us) your web browser will automatically send information to the server of our website. That log data will be saved in a logfile on the server. The following information will be collected and saved:

  • IP address
  • date and time of inquiry
  • time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • URL address of the webpage or its content, e.g. a picture
  • state of access/HTTP status code
  • volume of transmitted data
  • website from which the inquiry originates (referer)
  • identification of your web browser
  • operating system and its surface
  • language and version of browser software

The listed data will be processed for the following purposes:

  • to guarantee a smooth connection buildup of our website
  • to guarantee comfortable utilization of our website
  • evaluation of the system’s security and stability
  • further administrative purposes.

This website is hosted by hetzner.de. IP addresses will only be saved in pseudonymized form in their log files. For this purpose, the original visitor IP address, e.g. 123.123.123.123, will be saved as 123.123.123.XXX. XXX is a random value between 1 to 254. Thus the address cannot be connected to an individual.

The log files will automatically be deleted after 7 days.

Data collection while contacting

There is no contact form on our website. You can send us an email in order to contact us.

All we need you to provide is a valid email address and your inquiry so that we know how to answer the inquiry and who it is from.

According to Article 6 Paragraph 1(c) GDPR, the collected data will only be saved to answer the inquiry in this context. We delete your inquiry as soon as there is no need for storing it any further or we restrict its processing in case there is legal obligation to save the data.

Tranfer of data

Use and transfer of data does not apply since our websites do not collect personal data.

Cookies and storage of session information on the server

Cookies are small text files corresponding with your browser stored on your hard drive. You can imagine them as little post-its on which the website notes specific information, e.g. about the status of the current connection.

Cookies cannot execute programs nor transmit viruses on your computer. 

Their purpose lies in making the internet proposals more user friendly and effective or to allow for certain functions to work.

Typical cookies are so-called session cookies. In them an identifier (session-ID) is saved with which different inquiries of your browser can be attributed to the same session.

The complete deactivation of cookies may lead to restricted usability of some of our website’s functions.

Use of session cookies on our webpage

This website is run with help of the content managing system (CMS) TYPO3 (typo3.org) and looked after by our editors with regard to its content.

The CMS creates session cookies in a few, necessary cases. In addition to them being able to attribute successive inquiries to one session, cookies can store technical states from one inquiry to the next, e.g. what subpage within the entire website was last visited or states of forms, especially errors and other feedbacks after submission. Cookies do not store the entered data in the form.

Session cookies will be deleted after you close your browser.

Acquisition and evalutaion of accesses

Our website does not collect or save other data about ensued accesses besides the automatically logged data by your web browser. We do not compile any kind of access statistics. 

Inclusion of services and third party contents

Used program libraries and font files needed to program our website are solely obtained from our own webserver. Thus no personal data will be transmitted.

We integrate videos from the online platform YouTube. YouTube is one of Google’s services. You can find out more about Google’s data policy with regard to purpose and extent of its data collection and processing here: google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Google can only provide contents, i.e. send it to your web browser, when it knows your IP address. 

By visiting our website, Google receives the information that you viewed the respective subpage of our website. The data transmission happens independently from you being logged into Google. If you are logged into Google, your data will be attributed to your account. Should you not wish to have Google attribute your visit on our website to your Google account, you will need to log out of Google before viewing our website.

We employ Google’s service on basis of our eligible interest according to Article 6 Paragraph 1 (f) of the GDPR.

Disclosure, Blocking, Correction, Deletion

Upon your inquiry, we will disclose your personal data, its origin as well as the purpose of its processing. 

You may ask us to block, correct or delete your data collected by us. You may revoke your consent to data processing at any time. 

Deletion of data happens within the stated period or when the purpose of the data’s processing does not apply any longer given no legal obligations hold. 

Data Security

We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) process to transmit data between your browser and our webserver. Thereby the transmitted data will be encrypted and cannot be read by third parties.

You know whether a website within our internet presence is encrypted when the closed lock/key icon is visible in the status bar of your browser and when using the web protocol https:// instead of http://.

Furthermore, we employ eligible technological and organizational security measures to protect your data against random or deliberate manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are regularly updated in accordance with new technological developments.
