Research interests

  • Quantitative genetic analyses of relevant traits in modern livestock production
  • Evaluation of new traits and concepts for future-oriented livestock breeding, with a particular focus on genotype-environment interactions and breeding for increased robustness and resilience
  • Development and validation of modern concepts for breeding programs incorporating innovative technologies, new traits, and the preservation of genetic diversity
